“Child’s heart” association was established in 1990. It unites people bound with the problems of children and young people suffering from cardiac disease – parents, pediatric cardiologists, psychologists, lawyers and everyone else who might be interested in these children’s problems and is willing to volunteer his gratuitous help. The association was created to meet the needs of a considerable part of Bulgarian children and their families.
The transition of our country towards and open democratic society has been accompanied with the rise of social phenomena such as poverty, unemployment and alienation. These enforced the establishment of our association, which was brought to life to support all children who due to their illness are deprived of an equal chance and start in their life.
It is quite well known that heart disease leads to prolonged isolation and a number of psychosocial complications, which impede the social integration of children and their families. The main objective of our association is to improve the quality of life of children with heart disease not only through highly qualified modern treatment, but also with highly qualified psychological and legal consultations. Асоциация “Детско сърце” е основана през 1990 г. в гр. София. Тя обединява хора, съпричастни към проблемите на децата и младите хора със сърдечни заболявания – родители, детски кардиолози, психолози, юристи и всички, които са готови да дадат своята безкористна помощ на тази не малка част от българските деца и техните семейства.
Преходът към отворено демократично общество в страната ни бе съпроводен с възникването на социални феномени като бедност, безработица, отчуждение между хората. Това наложи създаването на асоциация “Детско сърце”, чиято задача е да подкрепя децата, поставени в неравностойно положение поради тяхното заболяване.
Добре известно е, че сърдечно-съдовото заболяване води до продължителна изолация и редица психологически проблеми, които сериозно затрудняват социалната интеграция на децата и техните близки. Основната цел, която си поставя асоциация Детско сърце”, е максималното подобряване на качеството на живот на сърдечно болните деца чрез висококвалифицирано съвременно лечение, психологическо и юридическо консултиране. |
